Cucumber Finger Sandwiches

This iconic English high tea food item does not disappoint! You can cut it up into dainty slices to serve for afternoon tea, or you can be like me and keep it as a rustic sandwich for just a snack.
Fun fact: these cucumber finger sandwiches are my sister’s favorite food 🙂
Kitchen Bop Music Rec: These elegant sandwiches always remind me of Emma Watson in the movie “Beauty and the Beast”, so I put on the soundtrack from the 2017 version!
Makes 2-3 full-sized sandwiches or anywhere from 4 to 12 lady slices!

Cucumber Finger Sandwiches
Ingredients
- 1 medium cucumber sliced thinly
- 6 slices of any kind of bread
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 4 spoons mayonnaise
- Chives chopped (optional)
- Dill chopped (optional)
- Garlic powder salt, pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Microwave the cream cheese in a medium bowl until it’s soft and easy to mix. Stir the cream cheese together with mayonnaise, chives, and dill.
- Add salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste.
- Assemble the sandwiches! I made mine with 2 layers so I used 3 slices of bread per sandwich. You can make them in any combination, just make sure not to skimp on the spread
- After filling the sandwiches with spread and cucumber, you can cut the crusts off for that polished look. Enjoy!
